Well, here I am in not so chilly Chile! I am having a wonderful time so far. I have been visiting old friends, as well as meeting many new ones. The people here are lovely and the temperature is very warm. I have been to the beach because I looked like the Ice Queen when I arrived (after being in snowy NYC). I met with the women´s rights group (with whom I plan on working with) and they are all so nice. It is interesting, the women´s rights group is very small. It seems as if many women here are not moved to stand up and fight for change. I hope that I can make a difference. I have also been interviewing for some English teacher jobs here. I have had some offers, but have not decided which one I will like to accept. Although I am having a very nice time. I miss my CSS students and staff very much. It is hard to be so far away from home and all the people whom I love most. At the same time, I understand that this is an important and necessary step in my life, and I am excited about this new adventure. I miss you all and am thinking of you always.
